Momma Does Things

I got the default photo set up for my journal entries. It's the small square image that you see with the excerpts in the home page of the journal section. I needed a default because not all journal entries have featured photos and I need something to liven up the page. I made sure that it only shows up in the section page but not the single post pages. I'm glad I get to code again.

Unexpected Blessing

I got paid today and, lo and behold, the amount I got was three times than what I usually get each pay day. I was skeptical at first but then I remembered that this must be the tax refund for the annualization that the accounting department did. See, I got a huge bonus earlier this year and instead of getting the full bonus, some amount was withheld for taxes. This was such a welcome surprise. I'm sure many can relate. We all work so hard for the money.
