My son’s finally cleared to enroll for second term: payment sent, certificate received, and in true fashion, he immediately ditched his poor mother for video games. Honestly, I can’t even be mad because he got that from me. Meanwhile, I’m still trying to figure out how to date my diary entries between time zones and sleep debt.
Just another chill Tuesday at work — my kind of day. Wrapped up the easy stuff, then ended up revisiting an old love: Age of Empires! I swear, video games still have me in a chokehold at 41. Meanwhile, my 19-year-old’s trying to coast through university clearance week like it’s optional. Ah, parenting — the ultimate real-time strategy game. 🎮😂

I slept for nine hours today and I am unapologetic. I believe I deserve to sleep more but then somehow I just woke up naturally after nine hours, so I guess my body is all fine. I love Saturdays.
